Bruce Crowe Art Exhibit: space, color, form and texture
Working in an abstract style, Bruce Crowe combined watercolor, acrylic and a variety of handmade papers to create his unique mixed media paintings. He considered each new work an adventure involving his artistic manipulation of visual elements. Often, the alteration of a single color or shape dramatically changed the direction in which a work evolved. The results were paintings with intriguing compositions which were universal in their aesthetic appeal. Bruce’s works have been exhibited for nearly twenty years and he won numerous awards. His paintings have been selected for such shows as the 43rd National Contemporary American Painting Exhibition, the Scotsdale Watercolor Biennial, Louisiana International Watercolor Show, National Works on Paper, the Central South Exhibitions and the Watercolor Society of Alabama’s National Competitions.
