This presentation will explore what the National Register is and what it does and does not do. The presenters will examine the nomination process and address issues of eligibility, National Register criterion, benefits of being on the register, and the seven aspects of integrity. There will also be an opportunity for community members to ask questions about the National Register process.
This is the second in the series and the presenters will be Katie Randall, a historic preservation consultant, and Dr. Carrie Barske Crawford, director of the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area will be the presenters. Both have extensive experience working with historic structures and the National Register.
