Parks & Outdoors

Spring Park is a hub for Tuscumbia events and outdoor fun. Be sure to check out the stunning 51-foot fountain and cascading waterfall, which offers a great selfie opportunity. Kids will love the miniature train ride and splash pad too. In the evenings, the park hosts regular events and light shows by the fountain. Just south of Tuscumbia, visitors can connect with nature walking trails through the 700-acre Cane Creek Canyon Reserve.

Big Attractions & Events

Helen Keller called Tuscumbia home, and visitors can tour Ivy Green, her childhood house, complete with original furnishings and personal belongings. Every June, the whole city celebrates Keller’s legacy at the Helen Keller Festival. Other must-sees include the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, where you can learn about world-famous musicians from our area. Get your arts and culture fix at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, which offers inspiring rotating exhibits.

Historic Sites In Tuscumbia

Visit the Tuscumbia Railroad Depot to learn how early railroads impacted the area. Built in 1888 as a division headquarters for the Memphis and Charleston Railroad, the building houses interactive exhibits and memorabilia. History buffs should also see the Coldwater Stagecoach Stop, a log cabin dating back to the pioneer days.
