Historical Board Q & A
The Florence Historical Board will be hosting a question and answer session about the role of the board in the process of design review for alterations to homes and businesses in Florence’s historic districts. The event will be held in the Florence City Auditorium on Monday, August 12th at 5pm.
The Florence Historical Board is responsible for fostering public knowledge of and respect for important events, individuals, and structures in the historical development of Florence, Alabama. Specific activities include: installation and maintenance of Historic Markers, oversight of residential and commercial projects in the Florence Historic Districts, and supervision of the Cemetery Rehabilitation Committee.
