Every year since 2009, we have gathered our friends from the communities of music, food, fashion and art for a hot summer weekend celebration in Florence, Alabama. Guests of these Shindigs have experienced intimate, once-in-a-lifetime concerts; mouthwatering meals; unforgettable conversations with friends old and new; dancing, drinking, and unmatched bonhomie.
More than anything, though, these Shindigs have been a celebration of fashion, and its power to transform our lives and our worlds.
Fashion designed Billy Reid’s Shindig No. 11 will take place Friday through Sunday, August 23 – 25, at various locations in Florence.
Concerts will feature The Raconteurs with Jack White (with the Blind Boys of Alabama); Margo Price (with Drivin’ n Cryin’); the Dirty Dozen Brass Band; and others to be announced.
In addition to concerts, the Shindig offers a variety of events celebrating music, food, art and fashion in the Shoals.
