Rodney Atkins films video in Florence

A music video featuring award-winning country music singer/songwriter Rodney Atkins' new song "Eat Sleep Love You Repeat" which was filmed in Florence earlier this year has been released today. Florence locations in the video include Shoals Theatre, the historic marker on Mobile Plaza, parts of Court Street and Gunwaleford Road, as well as the Limestone House Bed & Breakfast and Trinity Episcopal Church. This is the first in a series of videos including Florence venues that will be released. Florence Tourism and the Alabama Tourism Department worked with CMS Nashville to bring the video productions to the Shoals area. “The recognition of Florence by an acclaimed Country Music Artist like Rodney Atkins only gives our destination more credibility as one of the music icon hotspots in the world," said Rob Carnegie, President/CEO of Florence-Lauderdale Tourism. "Music and the Shoals are synonymous in nature and we are incredibly proud of that narrative that lives here.” The video will be serviced to national television outlets along with Rodney Atkins' social media and online outlets including Facebook, YouTube and more.
