The earliest distilleries in Alabama can be traced back to the beginnings of the State of Alabama in 1819, and before. Even after the end of Prohibition in 1933, an unholy alliance between the lawbreakers and the preachers kept many of Alabama’s 67 counties dry, and illegal shiners in business.
However, after High Ridge Spirits obtained 0001, the first legal distilling license in Alabama since Prohibition, the ethereal perfumes of distillation can once again be found and enjoyed.
Hand bottled and labeled, our spirits are made with pride and skill passed down through generations of craft distilling.
We manufacture and serve handcrafted vodka, our award winning 27 Springs Gin, rum, moonshine, and barrel shine.
