Mary Ann Casey is a writer, painter, and sculptor from Auburn, Alabama; a collection of her paintings will be displayed at Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts January 6th through February 17th. Born and raised in the deep South, Casey’s expressive, contemporary paintings are portrayed through a variety of media. Casey hopes that the paintings in this collection “become a collaboration between me and my viewers…I surrender my spirit to a sense of energy, love, oneness, hope and peace.”
