Join us at McFarland Park on Halloween morning for the Howl-O-Ween Dash, a family and pet-friendly 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run benefiting the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter and Colbert County Animal Shelter.

Whether you're chasing a new personal best, enjoying a walk with the family, or bringing your four-legged best friend along for some Halloween fun, there's a place for everyone at the Howl-O-Ween Dash!

Animal Costume Contest — Dress your furry friend in their best Halloween costume and show off their spooky, silly, or downright adorable style!

Costumes Encouraged! — Runners, walkers, kids, and pets are all invited to get into the Halloween spirit. The more festive, the better!

Leashed and vaccinated pets are welcome to participate! Bring your pup out for a morning of exercise, fun, and fundraising for local animals in need.
