Preservation Florence: Sears Catalog Houses

This event has expired and is here for your information.

Preservation Florence is a year-long series concerning historic preservation in the city of Florence that has covered topics such as the National Register of Historic Places, physical restoration, African American and Native American preservation, and cemetery preservation. For the remainder of the year, the series will focus on Florence’s own historic districts. There will be a different presentation each month where the history and architecture of Florence’s unique historic districts will be explored. On September 26th Libby Jordan, director of Florence Arts and Museums, will present a talk on the Sears Catalog Houses on Seminary Street, part of the Seminary-O’Neal Historic District. This is a free event.
