POSTPONED: Running Buck Wild Extreme Trail Run

The 2021 Extreme Trail Run will be held at Joe Wheeler State Park on March 27, 2021. Part of Alabama State Park's Mission is to operate and maintain recreational facilities; and to extend the public's knowledge of the state's natural environment.
We strive to continue this mission and provide the public with access to our natural resources. The name “Running Buck Wild" stems from the abundant wildlife at Joe Wheeler State Park such as the Whitetail Deer.
This year, due to the tornado damage the park sustained at the day use area, the race will be a 4 miler along the “Awesome” trail system at the park.
The race will start at the Joe Wheeler State Park Marina near the Lodge.
2021 Race Details
TIME:Race Day Registration = 6:30-7:30 am
Extreme 4 Mile Trail Run Start = 8:00 am
Awards and Brunch to Follow Races
ENTRY FEES:
On or before March 8th, 2021 = $30; after March 8th and Race Day = $40.
Everyone that pre-registered before March 1st is guaranteed a Running Buck Wild T-Shirt on Race Day.
You must be present on Race Day to receive T-Shirt.
They will not be mailed, and will be given to others if you do not pick up prior to race or do not participate.

GRAND PRIZES:
1st Place Overall Male/Female - Free 2 Night Hotel Room at Joe Wheeler State Park Lodge (except Holidays)
2nd Place Overall Male/Female - Free 1/2 Day Pontoon Boat Rental (Except Holidays)
3rd Place Overall Male/Female - Free Saturday Seafood Buffet for two
**If overall winner is under the age of 18, the prize will go to legal guardian.
