CAMP KD – Summer Arts Program for Children
Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts is offering a Summer Arts Program for children, Camp KD in July. Camp KD (previously the Young Masters Art School) will take place at the Kennedy-Douglass Annex building.
All children in 1st - 6th grades are invited to attend.
Session 1: July 13th - 17th
Session 2: July 20th - 24th.
1st -3rd grade students will attend in the mornings from 9 am-11 am, and 4th -6th grade students will attend in the afternoon from noon – 2 pm.
Each session will be limited to 15 students, with groups of 5 students per teacher and classroom, with many outdoor activities planned as the weather allows.
Students will have an art exhibition and leave with a portfolio of work at the end of the week. The tuition fee is $50 for the first child, and $45 for additional children. Application forms are available online at www.kdartcenter.org, or can be picked up in person at : 217 E Tuscaloosa St. Florence, AL 35630. The deadline for application is July 6th.
