The Belle Mont Celtic Fest, featuring the music and culture of Scotland and Ireland, will be held on the grounds of historic Belle Mont Mansion, 1569 Cook Lane, Tuscumbia, AL, on Saturday, May 14. Gates open at 8:00. Events begin at 10:00. Headliners are well-known Celtic musicians - Ed Miller, the Piper Jones Band, and Chambless and Muse. Food vendors, chamber musicians, kids’ activities, and demonstrators on site. Bring blankets and chairs. Advance Tickets through Eventbrite or by calling 256-381-5052: Adults $15.00, Youths 12-18 years $5.00, Children under 12 years free. Gate Admission (on festival day): Adults $20.00. Youth $5.00 Children under 12 free. Rain location is the Roundhouse at Tuscumbia Depot.


Belle Mont Mansion (circa 1828) was built for Dr. Alexander Mitchell, an early settler of Scottish heritage. The house was later owned by the Isaac Winston family. It is one of Alabama’s most significant Federal period homes, the design influenced by Thomas Jefferson. Belle Mont is a historic property of the Alabama Historical Commission, operated by the Colbert County Historical Landmarks Foundation.


The festival is made possible by funding from the Alabama Council of the Arts, The Daniel Foundation, Alabama Humanities Alliance and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area. Additional sponsors and patrons are sought. Any profit will be applied to festival continuity and to the preservation of historic Belle Mont and its museum operations.
