Xander Bame, a former Shoals resident now residing in Birmingham, AL, is an alternative hip/hop artist with deep, vulnerable, and honest lyrics tied with hard hitting, catchy beats produced by Xander himself.
Drakeford are a husband and wife singer-songwriter duo based in Chattanooga, TN. Made up of a Brit and an American, the world-traveling duo's music is folksy at heart with hints of pop throughout, with the finger-picking style being as clear and crisp as the vocal articulation. Music flows through Drakeford's veins...passion and zeal are etched into the music they create. They manage to repeatedly deliver quality both in musical ingenuity and lyrical depth. Drakeford's voice is direct and unashamed of the words he sings, and his wife's softer approach compliments him well, their voices keeping perfect pace at every note and word. The melodies are memorable, and the harmonies hypnotic.
