Women's Basic Self Defense Class

Cypress Creek Indoor Range has partnered with Florence Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to offer a Ladies' Basic Self Defense class focused on some simple, yet effective techniques that may be applied in a defensive situation. The techniques covered during this class will focus on grip breaks and counters to common “grabs” from differing positions that attackers frequently use. We will then use the techniques learned to counter those grabs and create space to improve our position or to retreat to a safer area so that we become a harder target.
The cost of this class is only $30 and space is limited to 20 students. Pre-registration is required. Students will not be involved in any fighting, grappling or wrestling on the floor. No previous training is required. This class is open to females ages 16 and over. (An adult must be present with minors).
